Hyperlite Murray Nova Wakeboard 137 - Men's

Hyperlite Murray Nova Wakeboard 137 - Men's

The goal of the Murray series was to design a board that utilized the pro model features that Shaun has become accustomed to while finding the balance of that user-friendly ride anyone could enjoy. Shaun's new shape begins with his first ever Subtle 3-stage rocker line. This new rocker gives the Murray more pop than ever before but it's subtle enough to maintain great speed into the wake and make carving as natural as his previous shapes. The new dual tunnel base contours allow for maximum water flow past the removable .8" P-Wing fins which creates a responsive edge but still allows for a quick release off the wake. This new shape is finished off with a variable edge design and exaggerated landing zone for a smooth edge transitions and soft landings. Ronix Faith Hope Love Wakeboard Black/Stephanie Blue 136

Ronix Faith Hope Love Wakeboard Black/Stephanie Blue 136

For 2010, Emily overhauled her collection with her second female specific signature deck. The Faith Hope Love has a slightly lowered hybrid rocker line blending speed, and a consistent smooth pop off the liquid transition, with a bigger sweet spot A new wider/mellower profile with more effective edge in the water means that instead of the angle generating the speed into the wake, the speed and lift come from increased glide on the water and overall stability. Riding higher on the water means less work edging into a trick and more forward momentum on landings. The latest creation from the first lady of Ronix now comes with our Smooth Flex construction. New for this year, we went to a softer layup and our girls team noticed more board control, softer landings and just a smoother overall ride.Key Features of the Ronix Faith Hope Love Wakeboard: Full rail in the center of the board makes it more forgiving Then blending to a harder rail design towards the tip/tail for increased glide speed and more stability while setting an edge Thinnest profiled board in our line reduces swing weight and makes landings feel softer softer New Smooth Flex layup Krypto Cable - makes the sidewalls the strongest part of the board - not the weakest, along with a torsionally stiffer board Mod Pour - this demanding alternative core is new for this year made from our exclusive blend of carbon and atoms 4 .6" deep molded in outer fins for those looking for a looser/faster feel Artwork - UV clear top/Stephanie blue & pearl ink/snakeskin inlayed aluminum emblem/silver foil Length (cm): 132, 136 Tip Width (cm): n/a Mid Width (cm): 41.65 (132), 42.16 (136) Rocker (cm): 6.35 (132), 6.6 (136)

Snowboards for sale - Snowboarding is a very recent sport and is similar to surfing, skateboarding, and Skiing. Likewise, it is not surprising that Snowboarding's origins lie in these sports. Although it is hard to pinpoint the pioneer of Snowboarding, it has been recognized that it was initiated around the 1950s by a few surf and skate enthusiasts who used self-made boards to convey their skills to a new terrain: the snow. At that time, due to the novelty of the Snowboards, those contraptions often resulted in many broken boards and a lot of bruises.

The first real Snowboard hit the market during the 1960's in the form of Sherman Poppen's Snurfer. It appeared like a weird crossover between a plywood sled and a skateboard deck. The rope attached to the front tip of the snurfer (board) offered the rider some control, and the steel tacks poking through the upper deck held the rider's feet in place.

During that time, Snowboarding appealed initially to a small group of surfers, skateboarders, and backcountry enthusiasts. Brave souls who rode their own Snowboard contraptions were highly frowned upon by majority of skiers. They were not even allowed to ride the regular skiing slopes. Consequently, Snowboarding started Off-Piste.

As Snowboarding became more popular in the 70's and 80's, true Snowboarding pioneers such as Dimitrije Milovich, an East Coast surfer, and Jake Burton Carpenter came up with new snowboard designs, materials and machineries that had slowly developed into the Snowboard, Snowboard Bindings, and other Snowboard Equipment we know nowadays.

In 1983, less than 10 percent of United States ski areas allowed Snowboarding. But by 1997, few resorts excluded it. Today, Snowboarding is now as accepted as skiing in most Ski Resorts Worldwide and its popularity and fan base is growing at such a pace that the number of skiers in the US has declined by 25%. The number of Snowboarders has increased by 77%, making Snowboarding the fastest growing winter sport in the US. Today, more than 3.4 million people Snowboard. This number comprises about 20% of the visitors to US ski resorts. Also, the number of people who snowboard is predicted to overtake Skiing by 2015.
