Ronix Parks Atr Wakeboard The Juice/Space Silver 139

Ronix Parks Atr Wakeboard The Juice/Space Silver 139

Arguably the biggest name in wakeboarding - Parks Bonifay has done more on the water than most of us have before he even started school. Starting behind the boat at 6 months old, youngest rider to at the time to win summer X, winner of every major award or contest you can imagine many times over, rabble rabble - check out the Parks movie if you haven't seen it already. One thing he doesn't get enough credit for though is his knowledge of hydrodynamics. Since becoming an owner of Ronix he really wanted to take his explosive, aggressive style and translate that into his most user friendly collection. A less is more rockerline, and a super sized sweet spot with our most amount of surface area in a high end board. The result is the easiest riding signature board out there. A hard edging board that you can ride longer with. Leave the wake with less work from the added top water speed. Now you can naturally travel off the peak of the kicker with more forward momentum. Similar glide speed to the new One board, just has a tighter overall feel transitioning, when edging and more bite leaving the wake. The fastest, most stable, easy to ride board our sport's gnarliest rider has ever endorsed. Still one of the strongest edging boards in our line with the unique variable rail and deeper channels outside the fi ns. Key Features of the Ronix Parks Atr Wakeboard: Center variable edge – a sharper rail and a softer bevel create a controlled accelerated edge transfer with a forgiving bottom design Tip/Tail variable edge – an even more vertical rail allows the end of the board to ride higher on the water and prevents the board from burying the edge on big cuts with a sharper bevel for quicker response into a turn Thinner profile reduces swing weight A clean bottom design - the board lands with more natural forward momentum allowing us to use cleaner bottoms Wide profile – with this much surface area we balance it out with more sidecut for the right amount of effective edge in the water Glide Speed - puts smiles on riders faces since not very long ago and can potentially cure the common cold A collection inspired by the marvels of our galaxy Parks Bonifay approved

Ronix One Modello Wakeboard Snow Flake/Mike Lime 142 - Men's

Ronix One Modello Wakeboard Snow Flake/Mike Lime 142 - Men's

One Collection by Danny Harf: Riding Style - The freeride legend got a total overhaul for 2012. From its inception in 2007 the best selling One board has been known for its mellower transitioned turns, a progressive edge hold and a smooth 3-stage kick off the wake. Here are some of the biggest advancements to this iconic superboard. Glide Speed - there is less resistance on the water allowing for longer sessions. The reduced rocker line creates additional speed both on and leaving the water. Proving sometimes less is more. With a smoother blended variable rail and deeper fin channels, it's a board that doesn't feel as tight with the water and will break free easier. A riding set up completed with our WSIA innovation of the year One boots in multiple colorways and several new features. The future of freeride designs takes on a new chapter for 2012. Since landing a 1080 on a prototype One board 12 days after becoming an owner of Ronix in the summer of '06, Danny has devoted his riding to a mellower inspired shape with relaxed arcing transitions. In the past couple seasons, we have made more hand shaped protos than ever for a new design, really focusing on 3 key things. 1. Make a board that that doesn't feel as tight on the water - recessing the fins inside of the channel for a looser overall feel. A quicker release off the wake without sacrificing stability. 2. Build a smoother blend in the variable rail for more predictable edge transfers. 3. With the help of Parks, create a new style of rocker with the most glide speed. Every aspect of the One board's rocker was built for the least amount of resistance with the water. Now you can ride longer with less work, and carry more overall speed into the wake. The fastest pro model Danny Harf has ever ridden. Unravel your freeride potential with our best selling collection.Key Features of the Ronix One Modello Wakeboard: New surf/round rail with a soft bevel thru the center allows the board to ride higher on the water and prevents that all too familiar edge catching digger Rail blends to a sharper bevel and a vertical sidewall in the tip/ tail creating additional contact with the water, a more predictable turn, riding higher on the water Thin profile reduces swing weight Clean center bottom design - the fastest rocker line we have ever made means you leave the wake with more momentum with faster landings for less impact on landings Deeper side vents for fins - the best in traction with a looser feel and a quick release Glide Speed - puts smiles on riders faces since not very long ago and can cure the common cold Monocoque - A wrapped glass from the top to the bottom so the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board - but the strongest 4 Detachable 1.0" ramp fins Mod Pour - The highest strength to weight ratio we have ever tested - setting the standard of the most refined recipe of foam out there Krypto Cable - Combined with our monocoque laminated glass, this cable makes the sidewalls the strongest part of the board - not the weakest Danny Harf designed and endorsed Length (cm): 134, 138, 142, 146 Tip Width (in): N/A Mid Width (in): 16.6 (134), 16.8 (138), 17 (142), 17 (146) Rocker (angle/arc): 10/Late

Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Snowboard Stealth Grey/Black 156

Award winning, rips everything, easy to ride, easy to turn, catch-free and forgiving, floats incredibly in powder, is unreal for jibbing, poppy freestyle fun, handcrafted in the USA, for first timers to pros. Banana Tech snowboards specific geometries reverse a snowboard's "pressure map", shifting your weight from your feet inward to the center of your board where balance is controlled. Some weight is still transferred to the tips and tails and full contact is maintained for control and stability but far less than is the case with tip-to-tail ski style camber where the tips and tails are the focus of all weight distribution, making a board catchy and difficult to ride. Capita NAS Snowboard 156 - Men's

With so many different camber theories in the market today, it can get confusing trying to find the right one. We have talked to many riders around the world who, rightfully so, just want what they know and love. They want the shape they learned to ride on and eventually learned to rip on. A board that';s powerful, stable, predictable, and flat-out charges. We launched the Normal Ass Snowboard last year, and so many people were feeling the stripped-down graphics and traditional design package that we are back for 2012 with seven sizes including three wide models. Comfortable and stable out of the box while still quick edge-to-edge, these boards can handle anything the mountain can dish out. And, with a price tag hundreds of dollars less than its Good Wood peers, these boards are undeniably the best high performance product for the price, industry-wide.Key Features of the Capita NAS Snowboard: SS SELECT Core Form 6-K Fiberglass Configuration 2 x 20mm Carbon Kevlar Beams HMC Extruded Die Cut Base PLT Topsheet Technology 360 Degree Steel Edges 4 x 2 Inserts Aluminum Logo Base Inlay

CWB Transcend Wakeboard 138 w/ Answer Bindings - Men's

CWB Transcend Wakeboard 138 w/ Answer Bindings - Men's

The Transcend was designed with input from riders of all ability levels. I wanted a high-end board that would work for a broad range of riders. Every design detail on the Transcend is there for function and ultimately control. We focused on control in the edging, speed, huge pop and soft landings. The traction comes from the 4 fin set up with the ability to still release at the top of the wake. The bolt-on aluminum extensions let the rider dial in the exact bite they are looking for. The speed of the board stays with you, not taking off in front of you or lagging behind. The pop of the Transcend is unique in that it's a subtle 3-stage board. The pop is generated under your back leg and up through your center of gravity. That is a fancy way of saying it has a ton of pop. Extending the center spine from tip to tail softens up the landings, while being subtle enough not to affect the board transition edge to edge. The end product of so much testing is a board that works well for the most advanced riders but still works for someone learning their first wake jump. The graphics are unreal for 2012. I don't know if I should ride it or hang it on the wall. Okay, I am leaning more towards riding it!Key Features of the CWB Transcend Wakeboard: Designed, shaped and ridden by Andrew Adkison Proven design with hardware such as U.S. Masters and 2x World Champion Molded fins with bolt on fin extensions for customized bite and asymmetrical options Deepest center spine runs tip to tail Fast design with big release off wake Subtle 3-stage rocker Designed for: Advanced / Expert Length (cm): 138, 142 Tip Width (in): 9.51 (138), 9.71 (142) Mid Width (in): 17.02 (138), 17.22 (142) Rocker (in): 2.92 (138), 3.02 (142) CWB Answer Bindings:Mesh Tech for weight reduction Flexible design with reinforced ribs New soft EVA liner Heel Lock Hinge - zero heel lift Orthotics footbed SOS Shock absorption heel Gorilla grip Gen6-plate

Hyperlite Clash Wakeboard 136 w/ Focus Bindings

Hyperlite Clash Wakeboard 136 w/ Focus Bindings

The Clash series may look familiar at first glance and if you ask Rusty he will tell you why. The Clash is built out of the mold of his original 1080 stomping shape. It is built to be a fast and responsive ride. With four 9 degree angled fins set just inside a two-stage channel, the Clash initiates an edge with little effort. The tip-to-tail step-down rail assures solid edge holds all the way through the wake. Combine these features with the abrupt continuous rocker line and you have a board with speed and pop like nothing else in the Legion line. The Clash is truly high-end performance without the sticker shock. The Focus boot is our best fitting and easiest entry adjustable boot. It opens wide and has a true floating tongue for supreme adjustability. The Toe Tension System eliminates heel lift by pulling your heel back into the pocket for a locked-down fit. The fully articulating cuff allows the upper part of the boot to flex with your leg. The new J-bar pads wrap around the ankle for a snug fit and eliminate heel lift. Snowboards for sale - Snowboarding is a very recent sport and is similar to surfing, skateboarding, and Skiing. Likewise, it is not surprising that Snowboarding's origins lie in these sports. Although it is hard to pinpoint the pioneer of Snowboarding, it has been recognized that it was initiated around the 1950s by a few surf and skate enthusiasts who used self-made boards to convey their skills to a new terrain: the snow. At that time, due to the novelty of the Snowboards, those contraptions often resulted in many broken boards and a lot of bruises.

The first real Snowboard hit the market during the 1960's in the form of Sherman Poppen's Snurfer. It appeared like a weird crossover between a plywood sled and a skateboard deck. The rope attached to the front tip of the snurfer (board) offered the rider some control, and the steel tacks poking through the upper deck held the rider's feet in place.

During that time, Snowboarding appealed initially to a small group of surfers, skateboarders, and backcountry enthusiasts. Brave souls who rode their own Snowboard contraptions were highly frowned upon by majority of skiers. They were not even allowed to ride the regular skiing slopes. Consequently, Snowboarding started Off-Piste.

As Snowboarding became more popular in the 70's and 80's, true Snowboarding pioneers such as Dimitrije Milovich, an East Coast surfer, and Jake Burton Carpenter came up with new snowboard designs, materials and machineries that had slowly developed into the Snowboard, Snowboard Bindings, and other Snowboard Equipment we know nowadays.

In 1983, less than 10 percent of United States ski areas allowed Snowboarding. But by 1997, few resorts excluded it. Today, Snowboarding is now as accepted as skiing in most Ski Resorts Worldwide and its popularity and fan base is growing at such a pace that the number of skiers in the US has declined by 25%. The number of Snowboarders has increased by 77%, making Snowboarding the fastest growing winter sport in the US. Today, more than 3.4 million people Snowboard. This number comprises about 20% of the visitors to US ski resorts. Also, the number of people who snowboard is predicted to overtake Skiing by 2015.
