GNU B-Street BTX Snowboard 149 - Women's

The B-Street is finally getting the attention it deserves. This board was tested by guys and girls alike for Snowboarder Magazine's 2012 board tests and not only came out on top for the women but placed in the top 3 for the men as well. It's an aggressive BTX board that has the pop and flexibility of a jib board while maintaining a freeride following thanks to the supreme edge-hold of Magne-Traction. This twin board does it all better, from a centered freestyle jib stance. It will change the way you look at the mountain whether you call yourself a beginner or a veteran shred. Ridden by true Gnu friend Danyale Patterson and 7 year team rider Maribeth Swetkoff. About the Art: Nick Russian has a way with ladies. He created another mysterious female-inspired graphic for his 5th B-street. The abstract beauty on this board might appear tormented but she is truly happy in the imelight that the B-Street has been basking in. Glamour and gore, she is exposing her true vibrant colors and dual personalities for all to see. CWB Marius Wakeboard 136 w/ Marius Bindings - Men's

CWB Marius Wakeboard 136 w/ Marius Bindings - Men's

The Marius is the best board I have ever ridden. We worked hard to make changes that would keep the overall ride characteristics while increasing the speed. We also wanted the board to be capable of the highest level of boat riding but also good for rail riding. The changes made are what I consider to be the perfect board. The Marius has low drag while riding flat and is fast edge to edge. It holds edge up off the wake which results in more pop. The dual center spine and continuous rocker aid in super soft landings. For cable riding you can remove the aluminum fin. The beveled edge rail makes the board more durable as the board edge does not come in contact with rail. The versatility of the Marius is unprecedented. I use it behind the boat, at the cable, winching and on rails. We worked hard to make a shape riders would enjoy and progress their riding to the next level. We succeeded. GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 140

GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 140

The pickle has been collecting awards this season, and it was by far the most demoed girls board at HCSC in 2011.  Banana between your feet for easy riding, catch-free park freestyle performance, and unreal float in the powder. ÂThe pickle is snappy and fun, and it does whatever you ask it to. It';s a park slayer, willing to get dirty on concrete, metal and wood, yet it will still turn gracefully on any frozen surface thanks to the Magne-Traction and asymmetric shape. ÂYour body is asymmetric, it only makes sense that your board is asymmetric too. Gnu PicklesÂwith a deeper heel side sidecut and unique asym core, are designed around progressive riding and modern freestyle duck stances in all terrain. 8 year Team riderÂBryn Valaika put it to the test all season filming with Peepshow and getting creative on and off the mountain.  This graphic was a happening between two visual experimenters: Matt French and Gnu art director Tim Karpinski. Ronix Mana Wakeboard 139 w/ Kai O/T Boots

Ronix Mana Wakeboard 139 w/ Kai O/T Boots

An award winning boot off the liquid kicker from the Ronix Mana series. For a rider looking for the ultimate straight up in the air snap. Over the past several seasons Australia';s Dean Smith has been taking his freeride skills to another level. Regarded as one of the riders that goes bigger than most pros out there. This past season he created a new ride that has a super flat rocker under your feet and a really late/abrupt arc that doesn';t punch through the wake. The Mana was designed to be ridden on edge with a sharper rail throughout the board, but doesn';t need much angle into the wake to get a solid pop. Ronix';s most responsive, explosive overall series. Sharp rail from tip to tail for more effective edge in the water Softer bevel in the center of the board prevents catching an edge. An open toe creation combining the 3-D molded tongue support and comfort of the Kai boot liner, with a shell construction similar to the new Divide boot. Made from Ronix';s new high memory Stage 2 liner with an even stronger molecular makeup keeping the boot';s intended shape. The revolutionary Ronix fit at a more affordable value now has their new low friction easier to lace up eyelets. Ronix';s patent pending baseless system - the original low profile design has superior board control and is ultra light for reduced overall swing weight - often imitated never duplicated.Key Features of the Ronix Mana Wakeboard: Total of 8 molded in fins .7" outer, and .4" inner provide just enough grip to ride finless, but still has an easy release for spins Slight V bottom means a faster edge to edge transition and softer landings Krypto Cable - makes the sidewalls the strongest part of the board - not the weakest, along with a torsionally stiffer board Mod Pour - this demanding alternative core is new for this year made from our exclusive blend of carbon and atoms Artwork - screened UV clear top/pearl ink/wood inlay/2 antique foils/Maori bone inspired carving 2 fiberglass 1.0" fins Kaimana - power of the water with a good luck Maori bone for the water';s travels Dean Smith design Length(cm): 139 Center Width(in): 16.6 Rocker(in): 2.6 Key Features of the Ronix Kai O/T Boots: New lightweight Stage 2 Liner - even more comfortable and less prone to packing out Our softest open toe 3D-Molded tongue Built in J-bars improve heel hold Articulating cuff - the boot flexes with the rider Throw your screwdriver away with our tool less mounting system New low friction eyelets Eco Innovation - no use of PVC solvents Designed with the everyday rider in mind

Capita NAS Snowboard 159

With so many different camber theories in the market today, it can get confusing trying to find the right one. We have talked to many riders around the world who, rightfully so, just want what they know and love. They want the shape they learned to ride on and eventually learned to rip on. A board that's powerful, stable, predictable, and flat-out charges. We launched the Normal Ass Snowboard last year, and so many people were feeling the stripped-down graphics and traditional design package that we are back for 2012 with seven sizes including three wide models. Comfortable and stable out of the box while still quick edge-to-edge, these boards can handle anything the mountain can dish out. And, with a price tag hundreds of dollars less than its Good Wood peers, these boards are undeniably the best high performance product for the price, industry-wide.Key Features of the Capita NAS Snowboard: SS SELECT Core Form 6-K Fiberglass Configuration 2 x 20mm Carbon Kevlar Beams HMC Extruded Die Cut Base PLT Topsheet Technology 360 Degree Steel Edges 4 x 2 Inserts Aluminum Logo Base Inlay

Snowboards for sale - Snowboarding is a very recent sport and is similar to surfing, skateboarding, and Skiing. Likewise, it is not surprising that Snowboarding's origins lie in these sports. Although it is hard to pinpoint the pioneer of Snowboarding, it has been recognized that it was initiated around the 1950s by a few surf and skate enthusiasts who used self-made boards to convey their skills to a new terrain: the snow. At that time, due to the novelty of the Snowboards, those contraptions often resulted in many broken boards and a lot of bruises.

The first real Snowboard hit the market during the 1960's in the form of Sherman Poppen's Snurfer. It appeared like a weird crossover between a plywood sled and a skateboard deck. The rope attached to the front tip of the snurfer (board) offered the rider some control, and the steel tacks poking through the upper deck held the rider's feet in place.

During that time, Snowboarding appealed initially to a small group of surfers, skateboarders, and backcountry enthusiasts. Brave souls who rode their own Snowboard contraptions were highly frowned upon by majority of skiers. They were not even allowed to ride the regular skiing slopes. Consequently, Snowboarding started Off-Piste.

As Snowboarding became more popular in the 70's and 80's, true Snowboarding pioneers such as Dimitrije Milovich, an East Coast surfer, and Jake Burton Carpenter came up with new snowboard designs, materials and machineries that had slowly developed into the Snowboard, Snowboard Bindings, and other Snowboard Equipment we know nowadays.

In 1983, less than 10 percent of United States ski areas allowed Snowboarding. But by 1997, few resorts excluded it. Today, Snowboarding is now as accepted as skiing in most Ski Resorts Worldwide and its popularity and fan base is growing at such a pace that the number of skiers in the US has declined by 25%. The number of Snowboarders has increased by 77%, making Snowboarding the fastest growing winter sport in the US. Today, more than 3.4 million people Snowboard. This number comprises about 20% of the visitors to US ski resorts. Also, the number of people who snowboard is predicted to overtake Skiing by 2015.
